How it began

Our Story

One Brazilian and one Egyptian walk into a sushi place...

What started as an unlikely encounter turned into a love story that spans continents, cultures, and cuisines. Nathalia, with her Brazilian warmth, and Mahmoud, with his Egyptian charm, two people who had no idea a dinner out would change everything.

"We are building the most beautiful life together and we would love for you to witness the next chapter of it."

Love at first bite

There was a random Tuesday. A sushi bar. And two people who tried to impress each other with their chopstick skills. Neither succeeded. Both laughed.

"Osaka currently holds the spot of the best sushi ever! ♡ If you're in Buenos Aires you should try Osaka. (and tell us if you do!)"

The waters ahead

We have since crossed oceans, racked up air miles, navigated time zones, and somehow fallen even more in love with each other along the way.

"We are currently living in Saudi (Mahmoud literally made me cross a continent after falling in love)."

Making it official ✦

On December 3rd, in a beautiful fazenda outside Sao Paulo, surrounded by the people we love most, we're sealing the deal. And we want you right there with us.

"We finally agreed on a place. It only took two countries and a spreadsheet. Well, almost — the playlist is still being negotiated."

FAQ

Yes! Fazenda Dona Inês has 150 parking spots on-site for guests and vendors. About 90 minutes from central São Paulo by car.

Formal attire. December in Sao Paulo is warm summer, so choose light, breathable fabrics like linen, chiffon or lightweight wool. For women, a floor-length or midi dress works beautifully. For men, a suit in a light colour, or a blazer with dress trousers. The ceremony is outdoors on grass, so block heels or wedges are a smarter choice than stilettos. Please avoid white, ivory or cream. Evenings can cool down, so bring a light layer if you plan to stay late.

Visa requirements vary by nationality. We'll provide individual guidance for guests from Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Please reach out!

We recommend staying in Itatiba, Campinas or Sao Paulo. See our Accommodation section for details on each area.

Absolutely. Bondani Gastronomia offers vegan and gluten-free options. Note restrictions in your RSVP and we'll take care of you.
